As part of the NCCW, the Camping and Caravanning Club is giving away a VIP camping trip to one lucky winner and up to five guests! The pass will be for the club’s celebration at Alton, The Star Club Site, from 31st May – 1st June 2018.

Across the two days, activities will include a climbing wall, live music, fairground rides, orienteering, face painting and of course the opportunity to celebrate all things camping and caravanning. Anybody over the age of 18 can enter, full terms and conditions can be found here.

National Camping and Caravanning Week is the Camping and Caravanning Club’s annual celebration of everything camping, caravanning and the great outdoors! This year’s event will run from 28th May – 3rd June.

This year, the club aims to use the NCCW to encourage everyone to get out walking and enjoying the great outdoors. It is also teaming up with the British Mountaineering Council to support their Mend our Mountains campaign.

This new initiative, which launched in 2016, was built to give Club members access to a trusted and reputable network of dealers throughout the UK.

This year the NCCW will support Mend Our Mountains: Make One Million campaign. This yearlong campaign aims to raise £1million to repair and restore footpaths, bridleways and bridges in all of the UK’s 15 national parks.

Money raised from activities by ourselves and others during the NCCW will help to fix our mountain paths so they’re safer and more accessible for years to come of activities.The first ever Mend Our Mountains campaign raised £103,832 for mountain paths across England and Wales, including Scafell Pike and Snowdon.
